COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

Safety Requirements (2022)

Flex Massage Therapy is committed to providing a safe and healthy Medical Massage environment for all our patients and staff members. Enlight of the new Covid-19 variants and for the protection of any possible future variants, we have updated our Convid-19 company policies to ensure a safe and healthy Medical Massage environment, that offers protection for all of us. The goal is to mitigate the potential transmission of COVID-19 in our Medical Massage environment and community, which requires full cooperation from all of us.

We will be limiting the number of people allowed in the waiting area at any given time and this will vary by each location based on the office size. Listed below are the new requirements.

1. Wearing a face mask before entering the building and throughout the massage sessions is mandatory for all patients and staff members. No exceptions. No face mask, No massage; Your scheduled appointment will be Rescheduled. We recognize that wearing a face mask may seem like an inconvenience, but while you may spend a short period of time in our offices, our therapists will interact with multiple patients throughout the day.

2. Should you not have a face mask, we will provide one for you, for a donation of one ($1) dollar, which must be paid prior to the massage session. These donations will assist in the cost of materials for first responder’s face masks.

3. Printed medical documentation of the requirements listed below must be presented prior to the rendering of any massage services, even for established patients who are required to do also:

- You must be fully vaccinated.

AND

- Please provide a printed copy of your Covid-19 vaccination documentation prior to your scheduled appointment.

OR

- Should have any Covid-19 symptoms, seek medical help; or if you are sick; please stay home until fully recovered and all quarantine procedures have been met. In either of these two situations, a Negative printed copy of your COVID-19 test results is required, at least twenty-four hours (1) day, prior to any scheduled appointment.

To keep in practice with social distancing, we request that all patients wait in their vehicle or outside the office (Virginia Beach), to be notified as to when to enter the office for their scheduled massage/consultation session. This is to allow for cleaning, disinfecting of the common areas and the massage rooms. As with all of you, we look forward to a day when things return to some sort of normal.

New hours of operation, will be by appointment only.

Monday-Thursday: 9:00am-5:00pm; last appointment at 4:00pm

Friday: 9:00am-3:00pm; last appointment at 2:00pm.

We appreciate all of your cooperation and continued support as we adapt to this new challenging environment. Thank you for being a valued Flex Massage Therapy patient.
